Leave No Trace

Minimum impact practices for anyone visiting the outdoors.

Your Commitment

The Basics:

  • Observe wildlife from a distance. Do not follow or approach them

  • Never feed animals. Feeding wildlife damages their health, alters natural behaviours, and exposes them to predators and other dangers

  • Control pets at all times, or leave them at home

  • Avoid wildlife during sensitive times: mating, nesting, raising young, or winter

  • Take your litter home - leave no trace of your visit

  • Do not light open fires or BBQs irresponsibly, dispose of them with care

  • Dog poo - bag it and bin it in any public waste bin or take it home

  • Care for nature - do not cause damage or disturbance

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.
